The Community Shares Unit is working with Big Society Capital (BSC) to direct co‑operative and community enterprises towards a range of SITR support resources.
Social Investment Tax Relief (SITR) is the government’s tax relief for social investment which encourages individuals to support charities and social enterprises. Individuals receive a 30% tax break when investing in an eligible organisation. BSC launched the GET IT campaign offering a package of support to help more charities and social enterprises raise investment using Social Investment Tax Relief.
You can now find a range of free resources on SITR including downloadable guides, webinars, events and case studies.
