As part of our our mission is to grow the co-operative economy, we work with partners and funders to deliver co-op support programmes.

Support for co-ops

We deliver several co-op development and support programmes in partnership with funders and delivery partners. Some are aimed at specific sectors or types of co-ops:

Business Support for Co-ops programme

We help new co-ops to set up through the Business Support for co-ops programme, which is funded by the Co-operative Bank

Community Shares

Help communities raise funds through community shares. Specifically we have support available through:

Working in partnership

We also work in partnership with Local and Combined Authorities to kick-start and deliver co-operative growth locally.

This included the Ownership Hub (now ended), where Co-operatives UK and eoa worked with Combined Authorities to promote and support worker co-ops.

We've also work with sector partners to develop focused interest in sectors we think have the potential for co-operative growth. This includes our work to support tech and platform co-ops through the UnFound programme.
