Sutainable local food on the wuthering heights

Spent a pleasant evening last night with the Wayahead group of Blackshaw parish council up on "the tops" near Hebden Bridge in Calderdale, West Yorkshire. I spoke to them about the Making Local Food Work project and they are keen to explore the possibility of producer co-operatives and Community Supported Agriculture. This is in response to a large positive demand for local food from a recent parish household survey. Nest steps - working with the Soil Association, we will hold a public information evening, in September, about Community Supported Agriculture probably in conjunction with Incredible Edible Todmorden who are just up the Calderdale valley.
