Swan Credit Union

Swan Credit Union is a not-for-profit financial cooperative. We exist for the benefit of our members who live and/or work in Milton Keynes, North Buckinghamshire or South East Oxfordshire (area of Thame).

Our mission is to provide our members with access to affordable loans and savings. The credit union, like banks and building societies, is regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and authorised by the Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA). Savers’ deposits are protected by the same Financial Services Compensation Scheme that covers banks and building societies

We pride ourselves on being different to high street banks. We are run and owned by all our members. Every member is a shareholder in the company and has the opportunity to vote in decisions on how we are run at an Annual General Meeting.

We are committed to doing business in a way that contributes to the local community, and funds are invested ethically.
