Description:

Twice a year, in the stunning Roman market town of Alcester, just 8 miles from historic Stratford-upon-Avon, you’ll find the Alcester & Forest of Arden Food Festival. If you’re not already familiar with it, you may think that ‘Forest of Arden’ sounds a bit like a face cream, or you might recognise it from the Shakespeare play, but that won’t help you with your driving directions – it’s actually in Warwickshire, right near the geographical centre of England.

The aim of the festival is to be a high quality food festival, so there will be no bouncy castles, live music or distractions from the food itself. The organisers are extremely picky and will only allow the traders that meet the required standards to exhibit at the event, so you can guarantee the products you find are the finest money can buy. There will be 137 food and drink stalls in total to whet your appetite! This is in addition to the independent pubs, cafes and outlets of the High Street.
