GDPR for co-ops – employee data

Co‑operatives UK produced an Employee Data GDPR Toolkit to guide co‑operatives through the key changes to the legislation, with a focus on how the GDPR applies in employment.
The toolkit comprises the GDPR guidance, including a handy checklist, as well as a draft privacy notice and a draft data protection policy.
A Data Protection Bill is currently being debated before parliament. Once that process is finalised, a new Data Protection Act will come into force, to sit alongside the GDPR.
