Join us for this online Zoom event hosted by the Development Trusts Association Scotland (DTA Scotland) and Co-operatives UK, to discuss the Community Shares Finance Guide.
The event is aimed at organisations that have run community share offers who are based in Scotland.
What you will learn:
- The legal requirements in accounting from community shares
- How to manage your members' interests in relation to community shares
- Subsequent share offers
- How to draft up key policies and processes
- Connect you with societies in a similar position
Our own Community Shares Standards Manager, Alice Wharton will be speaking on behalf of Co-operatives UK along with Isla McCulloch, Development Officer and Morven Lyon, Head of Democratic Finance both from DTA Scotland.
