The Conservative 2019 Manifesto commitment to establish a £150 million Community Ownership Fund is very, very positive. We are now eager to help ensure it adds value for communities and the public at large, as well as for our current and future members.
Our policy paper makes the case for ensuring the COF includes support for collaborative, enterprise-focused approaches to community ownership, including through the use of Community Shares.
