Policy: Roundtable to discuss barriers to co-operative start-ups, 12 January

As part of the Department for Business and Trade's (DBT) call for evidence we are holding online member meetings to get input into our sector wide response. This meeting focuses on the barriers to co-operative start-ups.
Our time is now
Co‑operatives UK is co‑ordinating a sector response to the government's one in a generation consultation into business support for the co-operative sector.
We will ensure the needs and aspirations of co‑operatives large and small, in every sector, are accounted for.
This is a rare opportunity to develop national policy on critical enablers such as co‑operative business support and access to finance. We encourage all co‑operatives to participate in this consultation, either directly or by feeding into a sector body’s response.
We are holding three online meetings for members on three aspects of the call for evidence:
- 12 January, 1-2.30pm: Roundtable to discuss barriers to co-operative start-ups THIS EVENT
- 13 January, 2-3.30pm: Roundtable to discuss barriers to co-op growth
- 14 January, 2-3.30pm: Roundtable to discuss mutualisation
