This engaging, immersive mock employment tribunal will give attendees a practical understanding of the process - with the option to take part in the role-play. A must for anyone involved in HR for their co-operative.
About the session
Join barristers from 3PB and the HR Services team at Co-operatives UK in Birmingham for an interactive mock employment tribunal around a claim of unfair dismissal and sex discrimination. The date listed for this event is currently placeholder and will finalised in early 2026.
Role-players will simulate a real-life case – and participants, as witnesses or, one of two, lay members supporting the judge, can take part in the role-play (optional) for a fully immersive learning experience that will leave you with a greater understanding of how employment tribunal hearings work.
Format
- A full day of tribunal proceedings with presentation of evidence, witness statements, examinations and judgement
- Discussions and explanations will be provided throughout
- Breaks will be incorporated into the proceedings
- Lunch and refreshments will be provided
