Gathering of worker co-operatives in Scotland
This event is for worker co-ops to find out more about a new, independent worker co-op federation - and discuss the future of worker co-operation in Scotland.
This Scottish Worker Co-ops Scotland Gathering takes place on 27 October, meeting at 1.45pm ahead of a 2pm start. The gathering runs to 5pm, followed by networking at the CCA bar. At this event you will:
- Find out about a new federation for worker-led co-operatives and how to get involved.
- Get up-to-date on how worker co-ops fit into the current economic and political environment in Scotland
- Discover what practical support Scotland’s agencies can offer
- Explore the future of worker co-operation in Scotland
- Share thoughts on how the environment for worker co-ops in Scotland can be improved
- Network with other worker co-ops in
- Have a short 1-2-1 session with a co-ops adviser
All worker co-op members, start-up co-ops and the co-op curious are welcome.
