Discover Co-ops webinar: Energy and sustainability

We're working in partnership with the Centre for Democratic Business, thanks to funding from The Co-operative Bank, to deliver a series of FREE webinars to discover co-ops.

The co-op model, based on equity, fairness and transparency, has proved particularly suitable for businesses with environmental aims. With an increasingly urgent need to tackle the climate emergency, democratic businesses are investing in renewable energy, retrofitting, and more sustainable supply chains. 

This session will explore how co-operatives are leading the way in climate action, share real-world examples, and highlight how this model supports a just and green transition.

• People Powered Retrofit (Jonathan Atkinson): Community benefit society offering retrofit advice and services to homeowners in Greater Manchester.
