Woolton Village Club Co-operative Society
Woolton Village
For over a century, the Woolton Village Club has been an integral part of the community and has played a significant role in the history of Woolton village. This grade II listed building has been a venue for various events, including the early days of the Beatles when Paul McCartney met John Lennon through a mutual friend and later joined the group. The line-up that included three future Beatles, including George Harrison, also performed at the Village Club in 1959 as The Quarrymen.
Nestled in the heart of Woolton Village, our venue is a one-of-a-kind offering a range of entertainment options such as live performances, bingo nights, and live sports on our large screens. The stunning venue is also available for private and corporate events, with a spacious beer garden located at the rear of the building.
