Description:
The Torquay United Supporters Trust is a democratic, transparent organisation of supporters, run on a not-for-profit basis. All funds raised through membership will be used to support the aims of acquiring a financial stake in the club.
The trust was set up by like-minded Gulls fans that simply want more of a say in what goes on behind the scenes.
The trust is registered with the the Financial Conduct Authority as a society with legally binding conditions - one member, one share, one vote.
The trust is run under the guidance of The Football Supporters' Assoc. (The FSA), a national body of full-time staff and advisors that have helped supporters set up over 170 trusts since 2000.
