Tollesbury Climate Partnership

Tollesbury Parish Council started a discussion on a local level about decarbonising; green energy; insulation grants; transport efficiency; electric vehicles; coordinated deliveries, counting food miles; local trading and up-cycling; and recycle – reuse – reduce. What can the local and collective awareness do about big picture choices and consequences? Those such as nourishment and diet; water quality and marine life; soil quality and sustainable land use? Tollesbury Climate Partnership develops these discussions further and asks what priorities their village can take on. What can we learn from each other? What good examples from elsewhere can we adopt? What do our young people want to see done? What new plans should we be considering? What should the Parish Council take onboard from residents? What outcomes can we influence? The partnership is set up to tackle these questions with action on a local level.
