Tavistock Housing Co-operative

Harford House is a block of 104 flats located on Tavistock Crescent, between Portobello Road and the Great Western Avenue in West London.

Back in 1996, residents voted to become a 'Tenant Managed Organisation' which would allow them to manage the services normally provided by the Council.

The Management Committee is made up of elected members of the Co-op and all residents of Harford House are encouraged to become members, which gives them the opportunity to vote on important issues affecting their home. Residents are more in control of what happens and are able to decide on what changes and improvements they feel are important for the block.
