Sperrin Producers Co-operative

Formed in 1990, the Sperrin Producers Co-operative is an agricultural co-operative which trades in commodities for the financial benefits of its' members.

Located in the Sperrin region in the north west of Northern Ireland, the co-op has members extending from Newtownstewart, Cookstown, Randalstown and Coleraine.

Formation came about because farmers felt they were being squeezed financially and could see the benefits of community groups coming together to work for their benefit. Total active membership is in excess of 150 members.
