Scott Country Potato Growers (SCPG) and Scott Country Potatoes (SCP) are a linked seed potato storage, grading and marketing business. Since its establishment in 1982 continued investment in storage sheds and in grading and tuber counting facilities has expanded the capacity of the business from 2,500 tonnes to 8,500 tonnes. The new storage facilities are fully refrigerated and electronically controlled to ensure that the highest quality standards are maintained.Scott Country Potato Growers (S.C.P.G.) and its marketing company, Scott Country Potatoes (S.C.P.) were set up in 1982. Initially the group comprised of five farmer members but has changed to nine, growing a total acreage of around 520.From an initial storage capacity of 2500T we have added three more storage sheds bringing our capacity up to 8500T.
