Scotlean Pigs

Formed in 1980 this pig marketing society has 193 members marketing over 979,000 of its members pigs per year. Scotlean Pigs will continue to develop its marketing activities by forming long term alliances with pig meat processing businesses to enhance member profitability through more stable pricing solutions. At the same time strong purchasing initiatives to assist members reduce their cost of production will be maintained as part of an overall strategy of improving members margins. Scotlean pigs was formed in 1980 and through continued growth is now the largest pig marketing co-operative in the UK and is able to offer a fully comprehensive and confidential business package to pig producers and processors throughout the UK.
