Princes Park Garden Centre (The Ability Co-operative)
Princes Park, Liverpool Road
Irlam
The garden centre is a social enterprise run by community members and managed by the Ability Co-operative. It exists for the benefit of disabled people and the wider community. We want the garden centre to be an important community asset which provides a relaxing, friendly environment that everyone will want to use.
The garden centre is fully operational and is open all year round. We have a range of plants, trees, shrubs and other garden products on offer. We grow most of our own plants on site from seeds and cuttings.
We also produce high quality woodwork products, including small tables, bird boxes and garden and other ornaments. We also produce great quality wooden planters and which we can plant up for you and are very good value for money.
Most of our plants and woodwork items have been produced by our day opportunities students under the supervision of our trained staff and volunteers.
Most things can be produced to order so let us know if there is anything you would like.
