Oxheys Mill Studios

Oxheys Mill Studios is a not-for-profit, artist-led co-operative organisation close to the university and the centre of Preston.

Our aim is to provide studio space for local and regional practicing artists. Alongside the artist studios, a permanent Project Space provides the means to offer a vibrant programme of exhibitions, projects and residencies as well as workshops and talks. Past events include visual arts, film, live music, theatre, dance, poetry, martial arts display.

Through the Project Space programme, Oxheys Mill Studios aims to establish a vibrant environment for creative practice and dialogue in diverse art forms. The Project Space allows artists/curators in residence to test models of curating and to expand the definition of an exhibition practice, whilst also providing accessible exhibition opportunities for local and regional artists and artist groups.
