Description:

The Old Maltings Antique and Home Centre is located in Aswell Street, Louth, Lincolnshire.

The building was a malt kiln and brewery belonging to Benjamin Ryley who was also a dealer in fresh hops. The grain was malted on the first floor and the brewing vats were at the rear on the ground floor where ale was brewed for local Louth pubs. During Victorian times Louth had over 52 pubs – one for each week of the year!

Our Antique Centre was founded over 35 years ago and is now run as a co-operative by its dealers. As the Old Maltings Antique and Home Centre, Louth in Lincolnshire is home to a large group of independent dealers, we can offer you a choice of antiques including collectables, homewares, jewellery and period furniture, which can be traditional, quirky or even eccentric but never dull – and all at very affordable prices!

Our dealers offer furniture restoration, cane or rush seating and pine stripping services too. We also carry out house clearances and buy gold and silver.
