Newmarket Allotment Association

The Newmarket Allotment Association is a collection of 3 sites within the Suffolk town of Newmarket. The sites are located at Field Terrace Road, Crockfords Park and New Cheveley Road.

The current membership is approximately 300, some allotment holders being members for as long as they can remember, whilst others are only just finding out the benefits of growing their own produce.

The Newmarket Allotment Association was formed in 1920. It is a democratic body electing officers and a committee who are responsible for managing the town’s 3 sites, letting plots, fixing and collecting rents, paying bills and carrying out routine maintenance.
