Newhaven (Sussex) Fish and Flake Ice

We offer Gas Oil deliveries to both members and non-members at excellent rates, we offer chiller or cold room space (when available) we supply water, electricity, ice berthing to members and non-members also at excellent rates.

The Newhaven Fish & Flake Ice Society was established in the 1960s and has offered support to fishermen who work in Newhaven and many other ports we sell fuel and offer storage space that provides an income to allow for the services to continue.

The Society looks to the future of managed fisheries with caution as the previous self-management process that fishermen have adopted for hundreds of years is now being taken out of their hands and will be managed by government appointed bodies and NGOs.
