Nenthead Arts & Visitor Centre - England’s Highest Arts and Visitor Centre
Sitting at the crossroads of three counties, in the North Pennines AONB, Nenthead boasts breathtaking scenery and a special industrial heritage. We think it is an inspiring place to visit at any time of the year.
Our welcoming arts & visitor centre, housed in a restored Wesleyan Chapel, offers hospitality in its fabulous café, exciting gallery space and dramatic outdoors.
There is something for everyone, whatever your age and whatever the time of year, you can be sure to find something to delight and entertain you. There is space to relax and refresh, meet and mingle, create and explore.
Nenthead Chapel Enterprise is the name of the Community Benefit Society established to run the project and the new business. It was formed in 2014 and is registered with the Financial Conduct Authority (7039 CBS). A Community Benefit Society has to be owned and managed by its members, the shareholders.
