National Supply Teachers Network

The National Supply Teachers Network (NSTN) is a cooperative association set up to support supply teachers to gain equality of pay and conditions with their full-time colleagues. The NSTN has existed for around a decade but has now been incorporated into a formal cooperative structure, with help and advice from Coops UK. The NSTN has a website, a Facebook page and a WhatsApp group. The NSTN hold regular online meetings and meet up in reality at union conferences. To counter the dominance of private supply agencies, the NSTN recently founded England's first not-for-profit, cooperative supply service.
