The Nailbourne Community Store Association

The Nailbourne Community Store (Association) was set up after a well attended extraordinary public meeting of around 200 people, called by the parish council after it was announced that the owner of the then current shop and post office were retiring, keeping their premises.

Together, we decided to run this as a community venture, creating a sustainable shop and post office that will not suffer the fortunes of the previous business. Running as an Industrial and Provident Society, this means all profits raised go directly back into village projects.
