The Midlands Advanced Practice Forum is a professional community of healthcare practitioners based across the Midlands of the United Kingdom. The forum is dedicated to advancing the practice of healthcare by promoting collaboration, innovation, and excellence among its members.
The forum provides a platform for advanced practice professionals to exchange knowledge and ideas, network, and stay up-to-date with the latest developments in their field and connect with peers across the multidisciplinary network.
The forum was created around 4 key principles:
- To provide peer support and shared learning across domains of care
- To formulate recommendations about quality standards in practice
- To further develop links with key national and local stakeholders
- Promote research activities to evaluate the effectiveness of Advanced Practice roles for integrating and improving care for our population
