Maynard Co-operative Housing Association (MCHA) provides good quality affordable homes for rent by local people. We work in an ethnically diverse community, and rent homes to people from a wide variety of cultures. We've a strong commitment to diversity and promoting equality of opportunity. As a housing co-op, we're run entirely by and for our tenant members. Tenants own and manage their housing collectively - so they are effectively their own landlord. This gives them a high level of control over their homes and their neighbourhood. Perhaps because of this, most tenants tend to stay with MCHA, so our homes are in high demand.
