Description:

A group aimed at rejuvenating life back into Maerdy by rebuilding the Maerdy Branch line from The Colliery site (No3 pit) down to Tylorstown. Along with the heritage railway line, we hope to achieve a heritage building and centre along with a cafe, modern playground facilities and a bicycle hire. Also in the pipeline is to rebuild the narrow gauge line to the top of the reservoirs.
