LEG Power Lochaber

LEG Power was set up as a Community Benefit Society on 2 March 2020 with the express purpose of raising money for a community hydro-electric scheme in Glenachulish, – its first renewable energy project.

The surpluses from the Hydro electric scheme will be passed to Lochaber Environmental Group to continue their work delivering environmental projects to benefit everyone in Lochaber.

Lochaber Environmental Group is a registered charity (registration number: SC029091) and works to reduce carbon emissions and foster a sustainable future for the environment and communities of Lochaber – focusing on energy efficiency, renewable energy, active travel, local food production and waste reduction.
