Haymarket Housing Co-operative

Haymarket Housing Co-op, formerly North Belfast Housing Co-op Ltd, was established to provide secure, tenant controlled, integrated, high quality, environmentally friendly and affordable housing.

Haymarket Housing Co-op is a par value fully mutual housing co-operative. As such tenant members and prospective tenant members take responsibility for the provision, development and management of their own co-operative social housing. At the core of our work are the co-operative values of:
"self-help, self-responsibility, democracy, equality, equity and solidarity. In the tradition of their founders, co-operative members believe in the ethical values of honesty, openness, social responsibility and caring for others".

Our name also reflects our radical roots and aspirations - our current property is a stepping stone to much more.
