Haydon Wick Club
Haydon Wick
Haydon Wick Club, formally known as “Haydon Wick Working Men’s Club”, opened its doors in 1894 and is situated in the heart of Haydon Wick / Greenmeadow. Over the last century the club has expanded, offering social and recreational facilities to more than 1,800 members. Haydon Wick Club is the ideal place to spend a relaxing afternoon or evening watching Sky sports on our large screen TV, or if you would prefer a little more fun, then come along to play pool, darts or bingo. Serving a wide selection of bottled or draft beers as well as soft drinks, all at a reasonable price.
Haydon Wick Club opened in 1894 under the CIU, on the land of Rose Cottage which was demolished by Usher’s Brewery, who previously owned the land.
In 1964 the club purchased the rest of the land around Rose Cottage to erect a car park and entertainment room. The building continued to expand over the next 30 years to what it is today.
