Greensand Community Energy

Based in Greensand Country, we are a community benefit society set up by people living in Ampthill, Flitwick and the surrounding area to run projects helping local residents reduce their use of fossil fuels.

We will do this by creating community owned renewable generation schemes, running low carbon initiatives and sharing energy saving advice.

The society works with our communities to be ready for the low carbon transition.
This includes:
- home and community energy schemes
- energy efficiency projects
- community education enabling households to make informed choices on energy supply, use and saving.
