Environmental Data Network Ltd

Set up by individuals from Friends of the Earth, mySociety, Environment Agency, University of Leeds, Wildlife Trusts, Icebreaker One and the Climate Coalition, the EDN is a not-for-profit people network to promote sharing of data and ideas, finding collaborations, for anyone creating or using environmental tools and data in the UK, be they business, government, NGO, grass-roots or whatever. Data is often hard to come by, behind paywalls or poorly maintained, and it is so crucial for effective and targeted work - we aim to change that.
