Dorking Solar Group

Part of the Transition Dorking initiative, the Dorking Solar Group is a volunteer, not for profit initiative established to promote and facilitate the take up of solar energy in Dorking.

We operate as a small core team surrounded by a growing network of people who share the same vision to move away from dirty climate changing fossil fuels and replace them with clean free solar renewable energy.

Specifically we
*Identify potential sites for renewable energy generation in the Dorking Area
*Approach residential, business and community property owners to introduce the benefits of renewable energy
*Work with owners to facilitate the installation of renewable energy systems
*Plan to start a community-shared solar PV energy facility
