Dengie Crops is a progressive, farmer-owned company whose prime objective is to add value to its members' produce by seeking out and fulfilling the particular requirements of individual markets.Established in 1968, the Company's main interest has always been the production of high temperature dried lucerne (alfalfa) which is used in the manufacture of a range of speciality animal feeds. With more than 5000 acres under its control, Dengie is by far the biggest grower and processor of lucerne in the United Kingdom.
