*Promote a co-ordinated and strategic approach to the economic regeneration of the area;
*Bring people together from different parts of the community to share information and exchange ideas on economic, sustainability, environmental and community plans;
*Increase employment and training opportunities for local people and young people in order to combat migration from the area;
*Seek funding for the area from public, private, charitable, national and European sources;
