Centrespace
Centrespace began life as Bristol Craft & Design Centre in 1977 when an old printing works in the heart of the city was converted into studios. Within the centre, managed co-operatively by its members, are 30 individual creative businesses covering a wide spectrum and high standard of creative skills - ceramics, textile design, fashion, illustration, jewellery, leatherwork, modelmaking, painting, upholstery, sculpture, woodcarving, printmaking. In 2001 Centrespace expanded its interests to include a gallery space for hire for artists and craftspeople wishing to hold self managed solo or group exhibitions. Centrespace welcomes enquiries about renting studio or exhibition space, as well as enquiries and visits from potential clients.
