Description:
The Brampton and Beyond Community Trust was established in 2010 and provides services and business support for the community of Brampton and surrounding region. In December 2012, the Trust was instrumental in registering Brampton and Beyond Energy (BABE) as an IPS company for community benefit.
The Trust has 9 Directors and BABE’s main business aim is to generate income from the sale of power, heat and digestate, a proportion of which would be returned for community benefit. BBCT also hopes to create new employment opportunities from the exploitation of these by-products.
