Bovey Tracey Paradiso Arts

Our vision is to create a community cinema, arts and entertainment centre, at the top end of Fore Street in Bovey Tracey. This will give a new lease of life to the old pub, King of Prussia which has been closed for almost a decade, and rejuvenate Fore Street.

Inspired by Cinema Paradiso in Wanaka, New Zealand, The King of Prussia would be sympathetically developed retaining the listed building frontage and features as a centre for the visual arts, with a fully sound insulated cinema theatre constructed at the rear. There would be a programme of current films and entertainment, a café bar, a visual arts gallery, artists’ studios and a meeting room.
