Description:

Located in the picturesque village of Bottisham, The Club, which was formerly The Royal British Legion, was founded in 1922 and was originally located in Bottisham High Street. The club moved to its current location in 1976 and now occupies a spacious clubhouse graced with ample car parking.

Bottisham is situated some 9 miles from Cambridge Centre and 7 miles from Newmarket so within easy reach of Cambridge's famous attractions and of course Newmarket Races.

The social club currently boasts an active membership of over 500 and new members are always welcome.

The Club has previously been awarded Cambridge and District CAMRA Club of the Year in 2017, 2018 & 2019, an achievement we are immensely proud of. We also hold The Cask Marque for our real ales. We are a family and dog friendly club that has full disabled access and washrooms.

Our Club is no-smoking throughout. A shelter is provided in the car park for those that wish to smoke. We are able to cater for large parties or conferences in our Main Hall or for smaller gatherings we have our Poppy Lounge which has limited kitchen facilities. Coach parties en-route to the races are welcome by appointment.

Membership is available to all. To become an Adult Member you need to be 18 years old and proposed by a current member.
