Betonica supports social change through herbal education. We’re committed to building a connected herbal community and supporting environmental initiatives. Our mission is to see a herbalist in every home and a practitioner in every town.

Our hope is that herbal knowledge becomes something every household can draw on, and every town can be supported by. Whether someone is taking their very first steps with our Home Herbalist courses — online or in-person — or committing to the rich and comprehensive learning offered in our accredited four-year Professional Medical Herbalist Programme, we aim to create learning experiences that feel inclusive, supportive, and grounded in meaningful connection to people and plants. Our CPD events further support practising herbalists, helping to strengthen a community of practitioners who learn with and from one another.

Our work is grounded in the belief that herbal medicine is — and has always been — fundamentally of the people. This shapes how we teach, how we show up for our community, and how we offer care in our clinics.
