Toby Sandison

Toby Sandison is an experienced practitioner available to any communities wishing to issue community shares, with particular experience within the Scottish third sector landscape.
He previously spent several years working for the Development Trusts Association Scotland (DTAS) where he advised societies at all stages, including set up, issuing shares and ongoing governance. The share offers he has supported include:
- The Old Forge, a pub in Knoydart, Highland
- Ballantrae Community Pub, a pub and hotel in South Ayrshire
- Isle of Eigg Brewery
- Common Ground Against Homelessness, a housing project in Edinburgh
- Loch Ness Hub, a community travel hub in Drumnadrochit, Highland
Since leaving DTAS, he has continued to support societies as a freelance consultant and also works as a Trustee of Plunkett UK.
Toby is Licensed by the Community Shares Unit to award the Community Shares Standard Mark.
