Matt has 6 years of experience of working with Grassroots Music Venues raising finance, including spearheading the Music Venue Trust "Own Our Venues" initiative which raised over £1m in Community Shares.
Matt also led on the community share offer for The Exchange, Bristol's first community owned live music venue.
In his role at Music Venue Trust, he supports grassroots music venues across the UK to explore new models of operation by and for the community and secure funding through community shares, social investment and grants such as the Community Ownership Fund.
