I have been working with community shares since 2005, and was one of the founding members of the Fordhall Community Land Initiative at the time.

I led the campaign to save Fordhall Farm from development, successfully raising over £800,000 through community shares to a membership of over 8,000 individuals worldwide. This Society owns 128 acres of Fordhall Organic Farm and leases the land to a long term tenant whilst utilising the same land for the benefit of the community.

I have been General Manager of the Society since its inception, running activities including a care farm, youth project, community access, social prescribing, cafe, shop, glamping, school visits, meeting room and more.

I love sharing our learning and supporting others on their journey, specifically those relating to the future of land management and a sustainable food system.
