Ever since I started working for Coalville CAN, a community benefit society, I've been inspired by how much impact co-ops can have. As part of the Youth Advisory Group, I want to help other young people realise what exciting opportunities are waiting in the world of co-ops.

The role of the Youth Advisory Group

The Youth Advisory Group functions to shape the work of Co-operatives UK to ensure it aligns with the needs of young people, as well as championing youth voice and advocating for meaningful participation within the co-operative movement.

Using their connections with networks outside the co-operative movement, Youth Advisory Group members will also work to spread the word about co-ops and promote the values of co-operation more widely.
