About the host

Tim Knowles is Co-operatives UK's Head of HR Services and manages our support to members in the fields of employment law, HR policy, reward and benefits.  Tim has more than 20 years experience in supporting Co-ops with their human resources strategies.

Our guest speaker, Chris Lake, has over 25 years’ experience advising large and medium-sized businesses, including several retail clients, on employment taxes. He has been heavily involved in supporting clients in preparing for the IR35 changes over the last 18 months, including working on secondment with a large support services organisation.
