Join Alice Wharton, Booster Fund Senior Manager at Co-operatives UK, and Tim Coomer, Co-operative and Community Finance (CCF), for this free event for practitioners and advisors on the Community Shares Booster Fund.

 

Community share offers are increasingly used by communities across the UK to raise finance to save and secure vital services and assets. To date over £200 million has been raised this way.

The Booster Fund supports new and existing community businesses in England that are at all stages of a community share issue.

Format

This 1.5 hour webinar will cover all elements of the funding and support, including top tips for creating a strong application.

There will be opportunities for questions throughout. Slides and guidance materials will be made available after the event.

Tim Coomer is the Business Development Manager for Co-operative and Community Finance (CCF). CCF is a 'Lender for Social Purpose'; providing loan finance to co-operative and community businesses across the UK.
