Community Shares Finance Guide - Managing community shares capital

A session for societies using community shares capital to understand their legal responsibilities, and how to manage their members financial investments.

About the training

This 1.5-hour online session will consist of content delivered by Alice Wharton (Co-operatives UK) and Isla McCulloch (Democratic Finance Scotland, DTAS). We will explore the main topics of the Finance Guide relating to managing community share capital, i.e. withdrawable, non-transferable share capital in societies.

There will then be a Q&A session to explore issues participants are facing or further questions they have about the topics.

There is no pre-reading to this session but, you may be interested to read: Community Shares Finance Guide | Co-operatives UK
